EASE AND VERSITILITY OF USE

PROFILES A WIDE VARIETY OF FOAMS

With an abrasive cutting wire running in excess of 300 km/h, the Wintech Fast Wire machine can profile a wide range of rigid and flexible foams, including:

HOT WIRE OPTIONS FOR POLYSTYRENE CUTTING

The Wintech Fast Wire machine can be fitted with one of two hot-wire options for expanded polystyrene (EPS) contour cutting.

The cost-effective manual option provides up to 10 hot wires that are easily manually positioned by the operator to the required quantity and spacing. When not in use, the hot wire pans are slid up and out of the way of the cutting frame in preparation for cutting with the abrasive cutting wire.

A machine option provides automatic positioning of the hot wires in 20- or 40-wire capacity. With this option, an additional cutting frame is included on the Fast Wire machine with the cutting wires stored in a magazine ready for use. To load the wires, the operator simply specifies the quantity and spacing of wires and presses the load switch. The machine takes care of the loading. Multiple spacings can be set, making jobs like sheeting a simple and fast exercise. This option is available as a stand alone machine also.

Both options come complete with full voltage control system and comprehensive safety systems.

With the hot wires, the Fast Wire machine can be used to reap the productivity gains that come of multiple wire hot wire cutting, whether it be simple sheeting or complex common line cutting.

DUST ISOLATION

The machine includes simple but effective isolation skirts for the linear bearings of the horizontal and vertical axes. These skirts significantly reduce the possibility of the ingress of any debris or dust into the bearings, ensuring ease of maintenance to compliment the long-term reliability and accuracy of the machine.

VARIETY OF MACHINE SIZES

Foam blocks come in a variety of sizes and customers require a variety of different profiles. To accommodate these varied needs and available floor spaces, the Fast Wire machine can be supplied to accommodate maximum block widths of 1300, 2200, 2500, or 2700 mm and lengths of 3000 or 5000 mm.

The Wintech Fast Wire is also available in a vertical wire configuration. This vertical machine is ideal for contour cutting rigid and flexible foams that come in sheet form and would not normally be able to be cut with a horizontal wire.

PIPE INSULATION CUTTING

Cutting of pipe insulation is a common application in the use of foam. The Fast Wire machine is not only suitable for performing this function, but automates it with ease. Simply specify the inner and outer diameters of the pipe, the overlap type and the Profiler software will quickly and accurately produce the profile for nesting, costing and cutting. Different size sections can be nested in the same block to increase yield and throughput.
